Description: NUNSENSE, the hit musical comedy, celebrates its 25th Anniversary with this special National tour starring two-time Emmy Award winner, Sally Struthers.

This zany evening begins as the Little Sisters of Hoboken discover that their cook, Sister Julia, Child of God, has accidentally poisoned 52 fellow sisters. Money must raised immediately for burials! The sisters decide that the best way to raise the money is to put on a variety show. Here we meet Reverend Mother Regina, a former circus performer; Sister Mary Hubert, the Mistress of Novices; a streetwise nun named Sister Robert Anne, Sister Mary Leo, a novice who is a wannabe ballerina, and the delightfully wacky Sister Mary Amnesia, the nun who lost her memory when a crucifix fell on her head. Featuring star turns, tap and ballet dancing, an audience quiz, and comic surprises, this show has become an international phenomenon boasting more than 5000 productions worldwide in over 21 different languages.

"Nunsense is good old-fashioned comedy at its best: it is quick paced, generally raucous, occasionally touching and totally wonderful. Bravo!" - Backstage

"A hail of fun and frolic." - New York Times

A hit of the first order" - USA Today

A Note from the Director
In 1983 some friends and I created a greeting card featuring a mannequin dressed as a nun. The card which was meant to be a joke eventually turned into Nunsense, Nunsense II, Sister Amnesia’s Jamboree, Nunsense A-Men!, Nuncrackers!, Meshuggah-Nuns!, and Nunsensations. This year we celebrate twenty-five years of making people laugh!

Working with our original Nunsense team including Teri Gibson who did the choreography and musical staging, Barry Axtell, the designer of our set and Leo Carusone who created the orchestrations, we have re-created the original Nunsense production. We hope that you will have as much fun watching this show as we have had bringing it to you.
